Happy Chinese New Year!

February 10^th 2013 will mark Chinese New Year. 

To celebrate this occasion, SynYang is sending its clients a small token of a silk bag and Chinese knots, symbol of prosperity.

Here are snippets of information about Chinese symbols:

Lanterns, usually with riddle written on them, are traditionally used during Chinese New Year.

A three fish with one head symbolises wealth and happiness.

 Giant pandas can only be found in a specific area in Western China. As a result, they are sometimes offered to other nations to nurture international relationships.

2013 is the Year of the Snake, and symbolises character traits such as intelligence, gracefulness and wisdom. People born in the year of the Snake are intuitive, introspective and very determined.

Both the design (structural and creative) as well as production was managed by SynYang.

 The calendars were designed with the environment in mind: they last two years (2013 and 2014) and do not require extra packaging as the box they come in is used for the display.
